Absolut and Tabasco is the collaboration nobody saw coming and everyone understood immediately. Absolut has distilled in Åhus, Sweden since 1879 — continuous column distillation of locally grown winter wheat with water from the village's deep well — and in 2025 it partnered with the McIlhenny Company of Avery Island, Louisiana, makers of Tabasco since 1868, to build a vodka around the world's most famous hot sauce: flavored with the same tabasco peppers, aged in oak the way Tabasco's pepper mash is, with a hint of the sauce's signature vinegar tang, no added sugar, bottled at 40% ABV. It's a spiritual successor to Absolut Peppar, the very first Absolut flavor from 1986, which invented the spicy Bloody Mary vodka category. Expect a nose of fresh red chili with the unmistakable fermented, tangy note of Tabasco, opening into a clean vodka palate with building pepper heat — warming rather than punishing — a faint vinegar brightness, and a lingering spicy finish. Honest note: this is a spicy flavored vodka built for one purpose above all, and it does it better than any other bottle: the Bloody Mary. It also makes a Spicy Margarita-style vodka drink, a chili Michelada, a spicy Moscow Mule, or the brand's own Tabasco Soda with lime. The red-capped bottle with both logos is a bar-cart conversation piece. Two icons, one very good brunch.Buy Absolut Tabasco Chili Pepper Vodka online with fast shipping right to your door.
