Don’t Leave Your Home Unprotected!

□ Lock all doors and windows including the
garage door.
□ Set your alarm if you have one.
□ Set both interior and exterior lights on a timer and
a schedule that matches your usual at-home hours.
□ Stop mail and newspaper deliveries if you will
be away for an extended period.
□ Ask your neighbors to keep an eye on your house.
□ Do not schedule any deliveries while you are away.
□ Plant bushes under windows to deter entry.
□ If possible, leave a car in the driveway.
□ Unplug all unnecessary appliances and
electrical devices.
□ Close all blinds and curtains.
